hey everyone. i hope you guys had a great holiday and a happy new year! im going to be putting up a christmas haul soon. i also owe people request videos which ill get up too. im typing this blog on my new laptop=)have fun and be safe! ive been thinking about doing outfits of the day here on blogspot. what do you guys think? feedback would be appreciated.

So Sorry!

Jeez. I cant think of the last time I had a good day/week. Whats it been now that I havent made videos? Two weeks? 3? Im not sure...well im really sorry that I havent made any videos or put up any blogs. Ive just been having crappy crappy days and im sorry ready to get out of that rut! Im pretty much in a sad/bad mood most of the time because of everything and I seem to be busy aswell so I havnt really bee in the mood or had the time to do all that I want to do! I owe people request videos and I have a lot of ideas of my own so hopefully things will get better and Ill put those up for you guys.

Quick Hello And Product Recommendation

hey guys! im trying to put up a video request today. im about to get picked up any minute now so hopefully it will be up before then!

im doing a little blog to say hello just in case though...

omg it was totally disgusting today in miami!the weather was extremely humid and just really crap and gloomy today

my face was like melting!!

so i grabbed out my handy dandy mac pressed blot powder! after i wiped my face i patted that baby on and voila! my face instantly looked better.

i recomend this product to all of you!!

Sorry!

So in my blog video I said that I was going to blog everytime I didnt put up a video to compensate. Well, yesterday I was feeling super crap and I fell asleep early so i didnt do either. Color of the Week: OPI La Paz-itively Hot (matte)

This is gorgeous hot pink. It is so different from all the other matte polishes. It has a wonderful almost...shimmer? to it and it slightly cathes the light which is unique for a matte polish. If I were to purchase only one matte polish it would be this one. FABULOUS!

Same pros and cons as the other mattes except what was previously stated=)

Color of the Week: OPI Comet Loves Cupid

POSITIVES:
-beautiful bright color
-excellent for the holidays

NEGATIVES:
-if you dont use a base coat it could stain your nails(as with any red)
-reds are always difficult to take off for me for some reason

i would recommend this color in a heart beat. wonderful cherry red. perfect color for snuggling with your sweety by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa. lol i dont know where that came from.

Last Week's Color of the Week: OPI Gargantuan Green Grape (matte)

POSITIVES:
-really cool and unique finish
-dry REALLY quickly (i painted the first nail and by the time i finished the second the first nail was already dry!) this is definetly a polish for impatient people or people on the go
-it look sa lot nicer than Russian Navy in matte actually not as flat looking (maybe because its a lighter color)

NEGATIVES:
-doesnt last as long as normal polishes
-because it dries so quickly there is not a lot of time to clean up the edges if needed
-your not supposed to use a base coat so it stains your nails but its not permanent so dont worry. you just have to spend more time taking it off
-you have to buff your nails or any ridges will show through

I would definetly recommend this nail polish. its definelty a good choice for a person who hates waiting for their nails to dry and always mess them up this is the polish for you. it is definetly worth the 9.00(approx)its a pretty unique and cute pastel green.

Dissapointments

So Im pretty upset because a few things arent really going my way. The gig i told you guys about was postponed last minute due to really crappy weather, and i dont know if im going to be able to take the proffesional makeup class till march!!! ugg im just pretty frustrated right now and hope things turn out for the better. Proffesional Makeup Class

So this is my 3rd blog of the day! I seem to be in a blogging mood today. Its just that I have so many thigns ive been wanting to talk about but I just havnt had the time to do it. So i figured now that I do I should take a few minutes to talk to you guys about eveything on my mind.

Anyways, I took a week long basic makeup course at a local college as a prerequisite to a proffesional makeup class. This was a really great class with an amazing teacher (Susie Alvarez) who will also be teaching the proffesional class as well. Im extremely excited to start (this saturday) and the best part is that not only do I receive a plethora of pertanent information about becoming a makeup artist I get a certificate at the end of the course. I believe this is a proffesional certificate not just a certificate of completion. Ill update you on that though dont quote me!

Possible Contest/Giveaway on Youtube

Makeup Gig Today

So, Im extremely excited today!

This girl from school hired me to do her makeup for her quince.

Today she is having her pictures done so I am meeting her at her house then going with her to her photoshoot location as well. This is my biggest job yet, money and experience wise.

Im actually kind of nervous though.

I really want her to look nice and Im a crazy perfectionist. Im not sure how long Im going to get for each makeup change so thats kind of stressing me out.

Oh well, im going to be positive and take things as they come! This is a great and exciting opportunity for me and I am so grateful.

Ill let you guys know how it turns out!

A few thoughts on this polish...

This look was something that I kind of threw together at the moment. I hope it was helpful and a good example of what you can do with a very minimal amount of products.
